*ସଙ୍ଘ ପ୍ରତି ଅସହିଷ୍ଣୁ*

ବନ୍ଦୀ କୋଠରୀରେ ସଙ୍ଘର କର୍ମୀ ମନେପକାଉଥିଲେ -

ସେଦିନ ଥାଏ କଂଗ୍ରସର ୫୧ତମ ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରୀୟ ଅଧିବେଶନ। କୌଣସି ଏକ ଗ୍ରାମରେ କଂଗ୍ରେସର ଅଧିବେଶନ ହେବା ଏହା ଥିଲା ପ୍ରଥମ। ଗ୍ରାମର ନାଁ ଥିଲା ଫେଜପୁର। ଏହା ମହାରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରର ଜଲଗାଓଁ ନିକଟରେ ଅବସ୍ଥିତ। ଏହି ଅଧିବେଶନ ଆରମ୍ଭରେ ପଣ୍ଡିତ ନେହେରୁ ଧ୍ବଜାରୋହଣ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ମଝିରେ ଧ୍ବଜ ଅଟକିଗଲା। ଧ୍ଵଜ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଥିଲା ୮୦ ଫୁଟ। ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ସମବେତ ଜନତା ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହୋଇଗଲେ। କାହାକୁ କିଛି ବୁଦ୍ଧି ଦେଖାଯାଉ ନ ଥାଏ। ସମସ୍ତେ ଏହାକୁ ଅଶୁଭ ସଙ୍କେତ ବୋଲି ଚିନ୍ତା କରୁଥାନ୍ତି। ଠିକ୍ ଏହି ସମୟରେ ଭିଡ଼କୁ ଆଡ଼େଇ ଆଡ଼େଇ ଜଣେ କିଶୋର ଧ୍ଵଜ ସ୍ତମ୍ଭ ପାଖକୁ ଧାଇଁ ଆସି ଆଖି ପିଛୁଳାକେ ଧ୍ଵଜ ଦଣ୍ଡରେ ଚଢ଼ିଗଲା ଓ ଧ୍ଵଜରେ ପଡ଼ିଥିବା ଗଣ୍ଠି ଖୋଲିଦେଇ ଓଲ୍ହାଇ ଆସିଲା। ଧ୍ଵଜ ଉତ୍ତୋଳନ ସୁରୁଖୁରୁରେ ସମ୍ପନ୍ନ ହେଲା। ସମବେତ ଜନତା କରତାଳି ଦେଇ ସେଇ କିଶୋର ଜଣକୁ ସ୍ୱାଗତ କଲେ ଏବଂ ପଣ୍ଡିତ ନେହେରୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଘୋଷଣା କଲେ ତାକୁ ଅଭିନନ୍ଦନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ।

ଏତିକିବେଳେ ଭିଡ଼ ଭିତରୁ କଥା ଶୁଭିଲା - ଆରେ, ଏ ତ ଆମ ଶିରପୁର ଶାଖାର ସ୍ୱୟଂସେବକ କିସନ ସିଂହ ପରଦେଶୀ।

ଶାଖା ! ଆର ଏସ ଏସ !!

ଏତିକି ଶୁଣିବା ମାତ୍ରେ ପଣ୍ଡିତ ନେହେରୁ କିସନ ସିଂହ ପରଦେଶୀକୁ ଅଭିନନ୍ଦନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମନା କରିଦେଇଥିଲେ।

During the flag-raising ceremony at the Congress Faizpur session of 1937 , the Congress tricolor was stuck midway on a mast eighty feet high.

Many tried unsuccessfully to de-tangle the flag, after which a representative Sri Kishan Singh Pardesi courageously climbed up the mast-pole and freed the fabric.  Loud cheers rang out for as the flag fluttered atop the mast.  The Congress session also accepted a proposal to felicitate Pardesi.  But no sooner had he revealed that he had mustered courage because of the nationalist spirit of the RSS, the Congressmen developed cold feet.  How could they felicitate any Swayamsevak of the Sangh ? The Congress’ discriminatory attitude against Hindutva-oriented organizations came to the fore.
